The challenge in the project
manufacture of chocolates and in particular foil wrapped chocolates, assortments, truffles and nuts covered in chocolate, wanted to have new production facilities to match its development. The firm entrusted the teams at GEDOUIN INGENIERIE to carry out this work.
GEDOUIN INGENIERIE worked alongside their client from the start of the project taking into account all of the factors. The work carried out in fifteen months is able to produce 52,000 tonnes of bars of chocolate each year. It involved the installation of a solar panel system on the roof (11,000 m²) capable of producing sustainable energy (750 kW). This building with a surface developed over 32,000 m² with the installation of a 2000 tonne metal frame.
