GEDOUIN INGÉNIERIE IS INSTALLING A CONCENTRATOR FOR THE MALO COMPANY, WHICH SPECIALISES IN ULTRA-FRESH DAIRY PRODUCTS

GEDOUIN Ingénierie, the design agency and consultancy for the food industry in the IDEC GROUP, has just completed a concentrator project for the dairy firm, MALO (Ille-et-Vilaine).
Specialising in ultra-fresh dairy products (yogurts, rennet, fresh cheeses,..) and Roller powdered milk for making chocolates and pastries, MALO (a subsidiary of SILL Entreprises) awarded GEDOUIN Ingénierie with the contract to install a 10,000 l/hr GEA concentrator at its site in Saint-Malo.
The project, which involved creating the structure, designing the architecture of the building and including all the equipment, was completed in nine months.
With a surface area of 450 m², the building required the use of 3D technology to allow all the equipment and services to be installed.
Delivered in early November, the concentrator was brought into service immediately after its delivery with the first trails proving to be conclusive.
