The challenge in the project
BRIDOR specialises in the production of breads and pastries for the catering and hotel trade. In order to meet the demand due to growth in its business, this food manufacturer, which stands out with its high quality products, wanted to increase its production and storage capacity at its facilities in Servon-sur-Vilaine (Ille-et-Vilaine).
GEDOUIN INGENIERIE once again worked alongside BRIDOR on the modification of its facilities. The two companies had previously worked together at this site to design and build three production lines for pastries, one 5300 m² production line for bread and three cold rooms each measuring almost 3000 m². The two firms also worked together on the construction of a new storage system (- 18 °c) in a reduced atmosphere with a storage capacity of 19,000 pallets, or around 200 million loaves of breads and pastries (data from BRIDOR).
